A set of commemorative stamps to celebrate the wedding of Prince William and Kate Middleton. The stamps feature photographs of the couple by Mario Testino. Credit: Royal MailUK's Royal Mail announced Tuesday that it will issue a special sheet of stamps on April 21 to commemorate the Royal Wedding of Prince William and Kate Middleton featuring their official engagement portraits by celebrity photographer Mario Testino.

The stamp sheet consists of two 1st class stamps and two £1.10 stamps and show the couple in both a formal and informal pose. The formal image was taken in the Council Chamber of St James's Palace, while the informal image shows the couple in the Palace's Cornwall room.

This is the third time Prince William has graced a Royal Mail stamp. In 2000, William appeared on a sheet of stamps to celebrate The Queen Mother's 100th birthday. In 2003, William became the first member of the Royal Family to have a set of stamps produced to celebrate their 21st birthday. These wedding stamps will mark another landmark as William is the first of The Queen's grandchildren to have their wedding commemorated on a set of stamps.

The last issue of Royal stamps was brought out to commemorate The Queen's Diamond Wedding Anniversary in October 2007.

The stamps and product range can be viewed online at www.royalmail.com/royalwedding and can be ordered online beginning April 7. The stamps will also be available from all Post Office branches in the UK beginning April 21.
