Stamp mounts that are specifically designed for the mounting of your stamps into the albums are an important part of keeping your stamp collection in the best possible shape and in retaining the value of each stamp. Stamp mounts allow you to easily be able to secure each of your stamps into the album, which prevents them from coming into any type of contact with the environment.

There are a variety of different types of mounts that you can purchase. Some of the mounts are tubes that have adhesive attached to their backs. Then there are mounts that are plastic strips that have adhesive attached to the back.

You will find that using a mount for your stamps is very easy. What you will need to do is simply place the stamp into the mount tube, with the stamp facing right side up. After you have placed the stamp inside the tube, you can then moisten the adhesive that is attached to the mount. Then simply press the stamp mount firmly into place in the album where you would like the stamp to be located. If you will fold the top part on the mount, it will allow it to lay flat against the page in the album.
